The original Annular! The legendary Annular series has been manufactured for nearly 20 years. It has become the most popular reserve parachute in the world. For many years, competitors have tried to copy this legendary design. Often copied, never beaten! Manufactured since 1995, tens of thousands, have been sold world wide. 100’s if not 1000’s of pilots have used it successfully in emergency situations. It’s still available in the following sizes: 24, 36 and 38. The revolutionary concept, although 20 years old, still represents state of the art technology and reserve parachute manufacturing. Our new Annular Evo has been almost unmodified in design, a light weight version of the original. The Annular shape achieves 35%, higher load capacity than reserve parachutes with similar surface areas. This equates to faster openings, higher stability and lower descent rates. The design and performance of the Annular Classic prevents down plane situations. The slower descent speed means less chances for down planing to occur. The paraglider can not build up enough descending force to resume flight.The final development step for Annular Classic was the inclusion of deployment accelerators: RAM air pockets. These pockets achieve fast and reliable openings even at low speed.

The development has progressed a lot in recent years, especially in materials. This resulted in advantages regarding weight reduction and tensile strength. The Annular EVO series uses a new, extremely light, and high tenacity fabric and lines, which achieves a weight reduction of 30% compared to Annular Classic.

Annular EVO has been improved with deployment accelerators (RAM air pockets)! The RAM air pockets are made of two parabolic pockets, sewn opposing panels of the parachute. They influence the opening even during the first phase, when the parachute unfolds and at low speed.

Thus Annular EVO series combines well-known low sink rate and pendular stability of Annular Classic with innovative material to rEVOlutionary good lightweight rescue system.
