We have developed the MASALA3 for all Hike&Fly pilots, mountaineers and ambitious para-alpinists, who always want to carry their ultralight equipment with them. The lightest paraglider in our lightweight line can be folded as small as a bath towel and fits in the smallest backpack. But the MASALA3 is more than just a quick way for alpinists to get down the mountain. Its balanced flight characteristics carry you playfully from thermal to thermal and it’s so simple to fly that even student pilots will find it easy to enter the third dimension.

Five sizes with optimally designed weight ranges ensure that every pilot finds his or her MASALA3. We have extended the weight ranges of sizes XXS and XS (LTF / EN A) to expand their application range enormously: in the center of the weight range, lighter pilots will find the usual simple and playful MASALA flight characteristics, while para-alpinists and pilots who like to fly in strong winds can launch with high wing loading from tiny peaks, or coastal soar when the wind is blowing harder.

Whether you plan to fly in relaxed or extreme conditions with your MASALA3 – for us skywalkers, the MASALA3 is simply the paraglider for all pilots who want to rediscover freedom every day.

Sport Class in Perfection.

Sport class pilots expect a very special glider. A high-tech wing, packed with the latest innovations from the world of competition sports, that can be flown comfortably and lead the pack on epic XC days. We have pursued these requirements single-mindedly in the development of the CAYENNE6 and are more than convinced of the result! The CAYENNE6 exceeds all expectations and is once again a step ahead of the crowd.

Because sport class pilots spend many hours in the air, we paid special attention to the choice of materials. Our choice of lines results in an excellent mix of user-friendliness, low drag and durability. For the first time in paragliding, the CAYENNE6 uses the “TX-Light” material, which we developed in cooperation with a renowned manufacturer. The cloth, which was originally developed for surf kites that are extremely exposed to salt water and UV radiation, sets new standards in terms of aging- and tear- resistance.

High performance comfortably flown – these four words are probably the best way to describe the CAYENNE genes. The new CAYENNE6 is even more balanced than its predecessors and at home in all conditions. Welcome to the new sports class!

Design

Because we already offer two distinctive intermediates with our TEQUILA and CHILI, we broke new ground in terms of the ARAK’s development. Its moderate aspect ratio and line concept share the straightforwardness of the TEQUILA series. Its performance-oriented profile in combination with the cell count and other built-in technologies minimizes drag and offers you nearly the performance of the CHILI series.

With innovative 32-gram material for the top and bottom sails and 38-gram material for the leading edge, as well as our very kink insensitive Rigid Foil, the ARAK can be compressed super small and packed into any hike & fly rucksack. Yet it is sturdy enough to handle lengthy ground handling sessions or playful flying in the dunes.

Characteristics

The ARAK offers plenty of comfort due to its smoothness and its easy handling. The glider provides great feedback, creating confidence from the start, so you can focus on the essentials even in the most challenging conditions. The TEQUILAs are our easy-to-fly gliders for pilots who are just starting out, switching classes, or working their way up. Since 2004, TEQUILAs have combined amazingly simple flight behavior with accessible performance. That’s why even record-holding pilots rely on our well-balanced EN-B glider – like flatlands ace Armin Harich in 2014. His 300-kilometer flight across Germany from Heidelberg in the west to the Austrian border in the east has never been duplicated and impressively demonstrates what is in our TEQUILAs.

HOW DOES THE TEQUILA FLY?

With the TEQUILA5, we have created something special. This well-balanced glider is even easier to fly than its predecessor while offering significantly more performance.

The basis for this results from the wing concept with a slightly higher aspect ratio compared to its successful predecessor, a cell count increase from 45 to 49, a performance-optimized profile, a leading edge with Shark Nose, and a new 3D shaping. This concept ensures that the TEQUILA5 stays exceptionally quiet in the air. Its agreeable damping gives you a feeling of confidence and safety, right from your first turn in the thermals. The TEQUILA5 is easy to center in the thermals and climbs almost by itself. Brake pressure increases linearly and its balanced handling lets you set your bank angle precisely.

The new wing design also delivers a significant boost in performance. In turbulent air, whether you’re flying on- or off-bar, the TEQUILA5 gives you a stable platform to cut a smooth line. This smoothness and simplicity are not only attractive to experienced leisure pilots but also ambitious pilots who, after completing training, are ready to move on to thermal and XC flying.

With the TEQUILA5, we made a special effort to keep rapid descent aids simply. Leisure pilots and newcomers don’t have to compromise when it’s time to get down in a hurry. Deep spirals are particularly easy to enter and exit. Pulling big ears is simple with a tug on the split A-risers. The wingtips remain calm without fluttering, while the sink rate increases significantly.

Our conclusion: The TEQUILA5 is our glider for all leisure pilots who don’t care about classes like A, B, C, and D. Like no other wing this EN-B glider lets you keep your mind free to focus on the essentials. The fifth generation of the TEQUILA combines lots of flying fun with outstanding performance that make even long-distance flights a cakewalk.
