WHO IS IT FOR

The BUTEO XC is made for all pilots targeting for long distance flying, without compromising safety aspects. Pushing the limits in XC flying is only possible, if glider and pilot becomes a unit. The BUTEO XC allows to safely enter the world of ultra high performance gliders for enthusiastic EN-B pilots. Also, this glider will push the limits of experienced EN-C pilots further as the accelerated gliding and stable canopy will allow to fly closer on the limit as on any other EN-C glider.

THE CHARACTERISTICS

The BUTEO XC is designed to be the ultimate XC machine. That means we have been tweaking all aspects of performance regardless of flat land or alpine flying.
The glider has a moderate trim speed, allowing you to turn flat in light thermals, while being agile enough to also turn tight in strong, tough conditions. The 162 LE-ribs creating an incredible smooth top-sail surface, which enables ultimate gliding performance even in moving air. The entire concept is trimmed to perform the best once you hit the speed bar. XC flying is all about travelling from A to B as fast as possible with the best glide ratio available. Here, the BUTEO XC will showcase his full potential. By using the best and latest materials, the glider is also relatively light, taking its design complexity into consideration.

WHO IS IT FOR

The new GRAVIS² was designed for a wide range of pilots. Especially pilots who like to walk to launch will have fun with the GRAVIS². The new high-performance material and the optimized interior structure reduce the weight to “walk and fly” dimensions without having to give up flight enjoyment.
Also thermal and pleasure pilots as well as beginners in cross-country flying who want to collect their first kilometers and XC professionals who do not want to do without the passive safety of a B-wing will very much appreciate this wing.

THE CHARACTERISTICS

The GRAVIS² is a symbiosis between safety, performance and dynamics which make the glider ideal for stress-free flying. A slightly higher cell count, shark nose, changed cell structure and sail tension ensure a constant internal pressure over the entire range of angles of attack. As a result, the GRAVIS² is even more stable in the air than its predecessor, even in turbulent conditions. Brake line inputs are implemented directly and precisely, making it easier than ever to center the glider in thermals.

Icaro Falco

The Falco is the result of the combination and evolution of several significant components, that Icaro has developed over the last few years. Leading to a glider with extraordinary performance for its class. We have been focusing on the perfect interaction of feedback between pilot and wing. Excellent take off behaviours, absolutely intuitive canopy control and rock solid stability even on full bar insure a safe and reliable feeling from the start.

The Falco is equipped with very modern design features such as Shark-Nose and only 2 main lines per line level. In combination with a light material mix, the glider takes off perfectly in all kinds of conditions. A well balanced mixture between aspect ratio and canopy curve ensures a smooth and very damped ride through turbulences. Equipped with the additional Leading-Edge Mini-Ribs, the Falco shines when you push on the speed bar. The excellent glide ratio is outstanding within its class. The most important criteria though, is the handling, which has been tweaked to perfection during numerous development stages. Despite very dampened roll and pitch behaviour, we still managed to achieve precise handling, allowing for a tight and flat turning. The brake pressure progressively increases for optimized thermal flying.
Regardless if you are a beginner or pilot of many years experience, the Falco provides the best of both worlds, pleasure in flight and highest safety standards.
