Using your paraglider for motored flights, ensures safety and inherent stability, while the engine adds autonomy and freedom. A P2 (Novice rating) acquired from the Torrey Pines Gliderport will provide you with most of the skills you need to fly a powered paraglider.

Torrey Pines Gliderport offers a two day instructional clinic for paragliding enthusiasts who want to add paramotors to their flight repetoire.  This clinic includes all the necessary details, skills, and knowledge required to make the transition from non-motorized to motorized flight.  The cost is $395.00. Pilots must have already attained a P2 and provide their own equipment for this course.
